Google to install Phone Booths for free online calls

Google voice Phone Booths
Google has seen a surge in the number of phone calls made using Google Voice after it plugged its calling services into Gmail. The main reason is the bad signal reception for many carriers in USA and the greater call quality that is afforded by Google voice in addition to this service being offering totally FREE online calls. We have used their Call Phone feature and we are quite happy with it. We are sure you would have loved this feature too. If this was not enough Google is planning to proliferate Google Voice in a way that most of the public phone booths will be replaced by them.
Google Voice's Red Phone Booth
Google has announced in a press event that it has plans to start installing Red Phone Booths into different universities and airports. Tech crunch reported that when you step into one of these boxes you will be able to make local, long distance and international phone calls free of cost. However, we believe that only local and long distance phone calls will be free. One still needs to pay for the international calls. Nevertheless, this is going to be appreciated by everyone as sometimes getting that 50 cents coin is a pain.

When, Where and How Many?
Google has not revealed exactly which airports and universities are going to get these Red Phone booths, but they have said that they will start installing them in a few weeks. The purpose of these booths is to let users compare Google Voice with traditional Phone booths. We will keep you updated on this as soon as we hear more from Google.
