Make free international calls by just saying "Free Calls" by 1-800-Free-411

Update: It seems Free 411 could not handle the amount of free calls people wanted them to provide and thus they shut this service down.

After a refreshing camping trip to Tybee Island we are back with great offers to make free international calls. Did you hear the story of Aladdin and his genie? On a gesture of Aladdin the Genie would do something awesome in no time. Consider yourself the Aladdin and we are going to introduce you to the Genie. This Genie however can only serve your one wish, viz making free phone calls. You can use 411 service to make free international calls for 5 minutes per call. All you have to do is to dial 1-800-373-3411 (1-800-FREE-411) and when the automated operator greets you (probably after an ad) you need to say (yes no option to key this option using your cell type pad) "Free Call" and then you will be connected to the server where you can enter your destination number in "country code + destination number" format. For example 9122********* could connect you to someone in Mumbai.

What is the Catch

You can continue talking for 5 minutes and then this free call will get disconnected. And you know what you want to do after that, yes call again. This number when dialed from a Landline in USA is a free number. This free international call service is similar to the free international call service provided by Ringplus which we blogged about earlier. However, Ringplus gives you 7 minutes of free international calls to India per call and more or less free international calls for other countries. I hope this blog was useful to you. Please spread the word among your friends. If you have a blog please add us in your blogroll link addresses. Thank you for visiting our blog.

Ad supported free phone calls

It is becoming quite popular for voip service providers to provide phone calls to their users that are supported by ads. We recently blogged about two such voip service providers Ringplus and DialSimple. Both of these providers are also offering ad supported free international phone calls.

P.S. Thanks to Abhijeet for sharing with us the trick to use this offer to make free calls from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world. Use skype to call 1-800-373-3411 for free and you can get free international call anywhere in the world. Even within India as Abhijeet posted in the comment.

  33. I was using thing company about three days and well I only used it about 3 or 4 times. However, I when I got on today it wasn't working anymore because people abused it.
I don't understand why people really do that if its free they shouldn't abuse it! I guess people don't understand the word by free from abuse. If a service is free should use it smart. Now I am afraid even tell blog about this new free service that I found. However, I think I guess it would be better for me to keep it to myself.

  34. @Casper: That was a very thoughtful comment. The issue is that these offers usually last a short time (this one however, is an ongoing one) and people tend to use them as much as possible.

As far as new services are concerned it is a matter of time, but the news will definitely spread out as the company would not want itself to be used by a few members. We always encourage our readers to share information with others as that is how the community, at the end, can benefit from these offers.

  38. @Anony,
you need to call this number from Internet. Please do not try to call this number from your cell phone in any country other than USA as that might cost you international call charges.
