Free calls to India, Free calls to Pakistan, and Free calls to USA from South Africa

Mig33 is an online community that is mostly expanding by power of word of mouth. It is a social network that was created by teens to  ensure that teens can send text/SMS whenever they want and as many as they want. That time the problem at hand was excessive rate of texting thus mig33 came up with this idea of sending text using GPRS which was relatively cheaper. We are reviewing them because mig33 is offering a new service for their users in South Africa. Mig33 users in South Africa can make free calls to India, Pakistan and USA during the month of July.

Free calls for Mig33 users in South Africa

It is true that you can get free international calls using Mig33 in the month of July, this is not that simple though. You need to first buy their regular credit using one of the many available payment options. Then you make as many calls as you want to these three countries. The amount that you spend on these calls will be returned to you as mig33 credits. Effectively, the calls you made will be free but mathematically it is a way of offering 50% discount on calls. For example if you buy 10$ worth of credit and use it in July you get your 10$ (as mig33 bucks) back in August which you can redeem for calls or text messages.

Review of Mig33 as a voip service provider

The call quality of mig33 is decent but the prices are little on the higher side. We will not recommend them highly especially when there are cheaper providers are available. However, they are a reliable voip service provider that has been present in the industry since 2005 or so. So if you don't mind paying little more for reliability mig33 might be for you.

Moreover, you can make calls by using your cell phone too which is an added advantage as laptop is not as portable as a handy cell phone. It is obvious that you get free chat and IM's with mig33 users as well as 3rd party users such as MSN etc.
