Viber for Blackberry and Viber for Windows phone released by Viber Team

Viber for Blackberry has been released along with Viber for Windows phone. We recently posted about Viber for Blackberry and said that it will be released soon. Viber team also commented on the same post and told us that we were only a few weeks away from the real App. Well, now you can download Viber for Blackberry. Although, you still can not make phone calls, it lets you send free text messages as well as free video messages to your friends on Viber. Viber team has released it succumbing to the pressure that our readers have created :). Keep commenting and provide them feedback so that the Viber team can make necessary changes.

Update: Viber team has said this a number of times that they have been working on Viber for Blackberry to have calling option. However, you can still use Viber for Blackberry to send text messages and hopegully in a few months Viber team will let you download Viber for Blackberry with the option to call other Viber users. Remember that with the inclusion of more and more supported platforms, such as Viber for iPhone, Viber for Android, and Viber for Blackberry, Viber team is creating a strong buzz around smartphone users as they can now communicate with their friends breaking the barriers of uniformity of device.
