  11. Is there any information about how much Google will charge in 2013 and if Google will permit porting of my Google Voice number (which is my old landline number) to another competing vendor? Do I risk losing my landline number if Google refuses to port back to a cell phone carrier?

    1. Dear Reader,

We believe that Google voice will be free for 2013 too. There are so many VoIP service providers that offer free calls to USA and Canada that Google can't start charging for these services. Moreover, the moment they make it a paid service a plethora of users will just go away to competitors. However, there are no leaks or announcements as of now from Google. Let us see how it goes.
