On this day of September 11, we would like to start this post by remembering those lives that were lost. Google Voice is one of the successful products by Google. We have posted so many tricks and hacks to use Google voice for your various international calling and texting needs. You can use Google voice as a FREE Home Phone Solution or you can use Google Voice to save daytime phone minutes for free. However, all this was only possible for people with a Google Voice account in USA. This is not the story anymore; all U.S. service members can call USA for free from anywhere in the world.
Google Voice accessible from outside USA
Google voice, after this announcement, can now be accessed outside USA to make free calls to USA. Google Voice official blog announced that this service is currently restricted for U.S. service members with a valid military email address that ends in .mil.
If you see this is a great service to people serving USA but then it is also a better begininng towards Google Voice being available in all of the countries. If Google can provide google Voice for a subset of users, it can also provide it for others when the political hurdles are taken care of.
