Use Vonage voip service from your Cell Phone

Vonage has announced that Vonage service can now be used from one additional phone. This phone can be your homephone (landline) or your mobile phone. This phone can be seen as an extension to your Vonage connection. There is no fees to add a new extension. It is totally free without any monthly or one time fees. This feature is included with all Vonage voip plans. If you are an existing customer you can follow the steps described in next section.

How to use and set up this feature? 

This feature is easy to set up and use. If you are new to Vonage voip service let us tell you that Vonage comes with an internet phone adapter that connects to your broadband router on one end and your telephone device on the other. Now, with this extension you can make calls from your Vonage phone adapter as well as one other phone.

In order to setup this extension follow these steps.

1. If you are not a Vonage extension you can get Vonage by clicking on the banner below
2. if you are already a Vonage customer you need to login to Vonage home phone service.
3. Select the Features tab, click the Extensions link, register one additional phone number from which you would like to make international calls and select a PIN.

Once you have set it up follow these steps to make international calls from your phone

Dial a local access number, from your registered phone.

Enter your PIN

Dial the international destination phone number in 011+91+10 digit number format.
