AT&T Offers free phone calls and texts to Japan to help people connect with their loved ones

AT&T offers free calls to Japan
These are trying times for Japan and all people living there. People and corporations are contributing to help people in Japan. AT&T has recently announced that residents of USA can now make free calls and send free texts to their loved ones in Japan for free. Effective March 11 through the end of this month, AT&T customers will not be charged for calls and texts between US and Japan.

Free Calls to Japan for AT&T Customers


Senior vice president of vice and data product for AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets Mr. Mark Collins said in a press release that AT&T wants to help its customers connect with loved ones in Japan in anyway it can.

Those customers who use Landline phones can also get 1 hour of free phone calls to Japan.

If you are a Uverse customer you can also get "TV Japan" free of charge for the month of March.

Collins says, "Connecting with family and friends is most important at times like this- we want to make it as easy and worry free as possible for our customers."
