Review and comparison of Voip service provider Jumblo.com

We are still amazed by YupeePhone and by the cheapest international calling service they are offering. We know that you expect some new offers to get either free call credit or free international phone minutes, during every visit to our blog. Therefore, We are working hard to bring you the best deals to make free international calls.

Today we are going to talk about another voip provider, Jumblo.com. Jumblo.com provides free international calls to many countries, but if your country was never given absolutely free calls by any voip provider neither does Jumblo.com. But their call rates are pretty cheap, not as cheap as YupeePhone though.

We here at Free Calls Hub believe in giving out the true information, as their is no gain by claiming that a particular voip provider provides cheapest international calls. If you visited jumblo.com earlier you would have mistakenly assumed that they provide cheap calls to India at 0.07 cents. Well, let us have the opportunity to clear this myth. Cheap international calls by Jumblo.com at 0.07 cents is true, but this is in EURO and when you convert it to USD and add VAT their cheapest call rates to India come up to $0.012

Still decent compared to several provider like Airtel (1.67 cents) or Reliance(2 cents). Other than this if you need to make free international calls to one of the many countries, you can do that for 90 days using Jumblo if you buy some credit with them. As with YupeePhone you can use your blackberry or iPhone to make calls over wifi which saves you minutes. The SIP settings for Jumblo.com are:

SIP port : 5060
Registrar : sip.jumblo.com
Proxy server : sip.jumblo.com
Outbound proxy server : leave empty
Account name : your username
Password : your Jumblo password
Display name/number : your Jumblo username or voipnumber
Stunserver (option) : stun.jumblo.com
VOIP/SIP codecs: G.711 (64 kbps), G.726 (32 kbps), G.729 (8 kbps), G.723 (5.3 & 6.3 kbps), GSMFR (13.2 kbps)

We recommend try making calls from your phone over wifi. We use it personally and it rocks.
